At ModernTek Solutions we specialize in repair and calibration on Broadcast video equipment, including Cameras, Lenses, Tripods and Fiber Optic transmission equipment.  We support the following brands: Sony, Panasonic, JVC, Canon, Fujinon and others.

Qualifications:
Associates Degree, Certificate in Electronics or equivalent work experience as an Electronics Technician is required.  Must possess a thorough understanding of electronics theory, test equipment and test procedures usually acquired through five years of general technical work with training in college level electronics courses or technical trade school.  US citizenship required for this position.

Requirements:
High school diploma
Ability to work independently, resolve issues and manage multiple tasks and priorities
Able to rework and solder SMT/Thru hole components
Ability to read and interpret documents such as assembly procedures, engineering drawings instructions, schematics, testing protocol and equipment procedures.
Advanced understanding of electronics and troubleshooting skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Mechanical aptitude essential (i.e. hands-on ability to test)

CAD and knowledge of 3D printing a plus.

Responsibilities:
Must be able to read, interpret and understand schematic, drawings.
Ability to be hands-on to build, modify, and test prototype units, engineering samples, vector boards, and electronics test fixtures.
Troubleshoot electronics circuits down to component level.
Knowledge in audio electronics, broadcast cameras, lenses, and portable electronics.
Completes all assigned tasks in a timely fashion
Takes ownership of an assignment task and see it through to successful completion
Responsible to meet annual goals set forth by Management (utilizations, work completions, etc)
Provides ongoing customer interaction and meet customer service requirements
Perform other duties as required
